The vector was constructed in the Stülke lab and it is suitable for constitutive expression of N-terminally Strep-tagged proteins in B. subtilis. The plasmid confers resistance to ampicillin and kanamycin in E. coli and B. subtilis, respectively. To transform B. subtilis, the plasmid has to be linearized with ScaI. Just like pGP380 it can be used for the SPINE method. Detailed information about the multiple cloning site can be found here: pGP380.
